From Miami’s vibrant colors to its wonderful people, I left my solocation feeling recharged, reenergized and fulfilled. When I was deciding to take a solo trip, I felt all the feelings of selfishness, mom guilt, anxiety… you name it. I reminded myself that when I take care of myself, everything else falls into place. Not only am I a better human, but better to myself. I took a giant leap of faith and booked my flight.
I laughed, I cried, I stepped out of my comfort zone, and tried new things in the most beautiful settings. I am so thankful that I decided to give myself this time to recharge because we all deserve it.

Yoga:
I attended The Breakfast Club Friday sunrise yoga and sound healing on the beach at S. Pointe Pier. It was the most incredible class I’ve been to in a long time. A combination of kundalini yoga, stretching, sunrise dip in the beach, a beautiful and authentic community where I met such lovely souls. Visit @305vibetribe and check out all their events.
Wellness Practitioners:
I experienced a 90-minute Sensorium Experience with Eileen Moran (Chrysalis). The session was a combination of: sound healing, reiki, breathwork, essential oils. At the end of the session she led me to the salt water pool for Aqua Asana, a surround sound water ceremony, where I floated watsu-style. It felt me feeling blissed-out and so peaceful. You can find all her information here.
Delish Food:
Here is a list of Delish Places to Eat & Drink in Southbeach.
Walking Distance:
Azuba Japanese and Sushi in the Stanton Hotel. I got the sashimi and the fish was so fresh. Delish! A bit on the pricey side but worth it.
Malibu Farm at the Eden Rock Hock. I’ve been to the location in LA and it’s fantastic.
Lilikoi Organic Living was my absolute favorite. Everything is organic and the menu is expansive. Great for every foodie lifestyle – plant-based, keto, etc. The portions are so big so I was able to save some for another meal. I also got delivery to my hotel so I had a fresh meal for the beach. I ordered the salads (shrimp and salmon), frittata (I requested no dairy and they have no issues making revisions), celery juice and the organic coffee with homemade nut milk is divine. The Founder has a beautiful story and Lilikoi was created from her own personal journey with cancer.
Under the Mango Tree was so cozy, unexpected, healing vegan food, juices, smoothies – everyday food.
Whole Foods on 1020 Alton Rd was great to stock up on my essentials for my room like snacks, nut milk so I can make my own coffee.
